I have lived in California since 2 years of age. I completed my BA in Zoology at UC Davis. I earned my medical degree at the University of Nevada where I was also elected to their initial Alpha Omega Alpha (the medical honor society) chapter. I spent another year at the University Of Nevada doing general surgery.
I then went to the University of Southern California- Los Angeles County residency program for Obstetrics and Gynecology, which offered me a unique experience in training. By training at one of the busiest OB/Gyn residencies in the US, I feel that I was able to encounter the full range of obstetrical and gynecologic training. After completing four years in S. California I moved to the Bay Area and started in practice in San Jose in 1990. I joined Loma Vista Medical Group in 1994.
In my free time, I enjoy many outdoor activities and antique collecting. Most of my free time is spent training, showing and occasionally breeding my Labrador retrievers. I am also an avid reader.
